Volunteer Application Process

At Van ISD, we sincerely value our dedicated school volunteers. Our safety and background check requirements are not intended to hinder individuals from volunteering, but rather to reassure parents and staff that Van ISD has been diligent in screening volunteers who work with our students. The status of your volunteer application does not affect your ability as a parent to visit the campus for lunch or special events using the existing Raptor sign-in process. However, if you want to volunteer at any campus, you MUST first complete the Van ISD Volunteer Application Packet and pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

We appreciate and value your willingness to volunteer and serve at Van ISD. Please allow up to two weeks processing time for volunteer applications. Don't wait and get caught missing out on volunteer opportunities... Sign up to be a Vandal Volunteer today!
