We are excited to welcome our littlest Vandals to Van ISD! Here is what you need to know:
PRE-K
- Student must be 4 years old by September 1st and qualify as at least one of the following;
- does not speak or understand English (Limited English Proficient)
- is considered educationally disadvantaged based on family income (currently participates in SNAP Program)
- is homeless
- has a parent who is active military, guard, or reserve, or who was just injured or killed while on active duty
- is currently or was previously under the care of the Department of Family and Protective Services
- has a parent or official guardian who is eligible for the Star of Texas Award
An online Pre-K application does not guarantee a placement for your child. All enrollment documents must be received in the office and eligibility MUST be verified in order for your child to be granted entry into the program.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?
- Certified Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Immunization Record
- Proof of Address using any document below:
- contract, lease agreement, or mortgage statement, OR;
- most current water, gas, electric, garbage pickup, or internet bill
- Note: If you are currently living with another person and the proof of residency is in that person's name, both you and that person will need to sign a notarized affidavit. This can be done at any campus office. Click here to download Affidavit for Proof of Residency: (English) (Spanish).
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Custody/Guardianship Documents if Applicable

Any child with siblings currently attending school at ANY Van ISD campus must be enrolled through your Skyward Family Access Account. Click here to access your Skyward Family Access Account. All necessary documents can be brought to the front office of J.E. Rhodes.

Una solicitud de pre-kínder en línea no garantiza un lugar para su hijo. Todos los documentos de inscripción deben recibirse en la oficina y DEBE verificarse la elegibilidad para que su hijo pueda ingresar al programa.

Cualquier niño con hermanos que actualmente asisten a la escuela en CUALQUIER campus de Van ISD debe inscribirse a través de su cuenta de acceso familiar de Skyward. Haga clic aquí para acceder a su cuenta Skyward Family Access. Todos los documentos necesarios se pueden llevar a la oficina principal de JE Rhodes.
