Kindergarten students got a taste of the great outdoors—without ever leaving the classroom! Last week, Ms. Brennan’s and Mrs. Billings’ classrooms were transformed into a full-on campsite for a special day of hands-on learning and imaginative play!
Decked out with tents, twinkling lights, and a cozy "campfire," the classrooms provided the perfect setting for students to embrace the camping theme while engaging in a variety of educational activities. Students rotated through learning stations set up in tents, created their own lightning bug crafts, and capped off the day with a sweet treat—s’mores in the courtyard!
At Van ISD, we believe that learning should always be an adventure—and Camp Kindergarten was a shining example of just that!
