After continued monitoring of the predicted forecast, Van ISD will remain CLOSED for Friday, January 10th.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. With temperatures hovering around the freezing point tonight and tomorrow morning, we want to be especially mindful of road conditions for both our bus drivers and young drivers in the morning. REMINDER: Christmas Break is right around the corner! 🎄 This Thursday, December 19th will be a 3-hour early release day! Friday, January 3rd will be a Staff Development Day, and classes will resume Monday, January 6th! 🎅

EARLY RELEASE FRIDAY: All Van ISD campuses will release 3 hours early on Friday, November 22nd due to the number of students and staff required to travel, and the need to use our Van ISD buses. This schedule adjustment allows our buses to complete all afternoon routes before heading to Mesquite for the playoff game.
Don't forget - Friday, November 8th is a scheduled early release day! All Van ISD campuses will dismiss 3 hours early!
Out of an abundance of caution, Van ISD will release all students 30 minutes early today, at 3:00 PM. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we want to ensure that we can get our bus riders and drivers home safely this afternoon.
