The Van ISD family was saddened to learn that Mrs. Peggy Allen, former receptionist at J.E. Rhodes Elementary, recently passed away.
Mrs. Allen greeted students, parents, staff, and visitors with kindness and warmth. Her patience and caring heart touched countless lives. She had a special gift for making every child feel important, valued, and loved, and her smile brightened the day of everyone who walked through the front doors.
The impact Mrs. Allen made on our school community will never be forgotten. We are grateful for the years she devoted to serving the students and families of Van ISD. Please join us in keeping her family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
