Van Intermediate is excited to announce Mrs. Emily Jones as the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year for our campus!
Mrs. Jones brings a steady presence and strong sense of purpose to her 3rd grade classroom, creating a space where students are motivated to learn and feel confident taking on new challenges. Her thoughtful approach to teaching and ability to connect with her students make a lasting impact each day.
A colleague shared these words: “Emily is an exceptional educator who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. Her dedication, passion, and strong work ethic are evident in everything she does. She truly pours her heart into her classroom and works tirelessly to ensure every student feels supported, encouraged, and capable of success.”
During the surprise celebration, the Vandal drum line, cheerleaders, and administrators honored Mrs. Jones with a plaque, a yard sign, and a $1,000 check from the Van ISD Education Foundation.
