Classes will resume Tuesday, January 20th. Have a safe three-day weekend, Vandals!

With that in mind, now is a great time to remind families where to find the latest updates on potential school delays or closures in January and February. ❄️☃️🌨️
👉 Updates will be shared via text message and/or email, the Van ISD Facebook page, and the Live Feed section on the Van ISD website & mobile app.
👉 Make sure your contact information is up to date in Skyward Family Access to receive any closure or delay notices by text and/or email.
If you do not see a notice in any of these locations, classes will proceed as normal.

🎟Admission is “Donate What You Can.” Come support our talented students on stage! 👏

School will dismiss 3 hours before regular dismissal time.

This schedule adjustment allows our buses to complete all afternoon routes before heading to Sulphur Springs for the playoff game.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 7:45–8:45 a.m. in the VJH Library, followed by a Veterans Day Program at 9:00 a.m. in the Van ISD Auditorium, hosted by Van Middle School.
We look forward to honoring the men and women who have bravely served our country! 🇺🇸

It's the season of gratitude & giving thanks! 🍂🍁🦃 Check out November's Counselor’s Corner for updates on our coin drive, Feed the Hunger Week, and more!

Reminder: This Friday, October 31st, is an early release day! All campuses will dismiss 3 hours early.

October is packed with fun and meaningful activities at Van Junior High! 🍂🧡👻🎃 Check out this month’s Counselor’s Corner for updates on Bullying Awareness Month, Red Ribbon Week, and tips for helping students build empathy and celebrate diversity!

This month, we’re focusing on student success—both in and out of the classroom—by encouraging strong study habits, better organization, and a positive, supportive school community.
💡 Tip for Parents: Ask your student how they practiced one study habit, one organization skill, and one act of kindness this week. These small check-ins help build lasting habits that stick!
Together, we’re creating a Vandal community where every student can grow, achieve, and thrive. ❤️🤍

We are excited to have all of our students back on campus for the first day of school TOMORROW, August 14th!!!
New state laws mean we can’t provide even basic health services at school—like taking a temperature, applying a bandage, or giving an ice pack—without your permission.
⭐️ Emergency care will still be given if needed.
⭐️ To give consent, complete the Health Services Consent Form in your child’s online registration.
⭐️ Already registered? You STILL need to log in to Skyward Family Access and fill out this new form for each student.
If you have any questions, please email kristen.williams@vanisd.org
Our goal is to keep every Vandal safe, healthy, and ready to learn—but we need your permission first. Thank you for taking a moment to complete the form! ❤️
