Our district leaders are currently driving the back roads across our district to assess road conditions.
A final announcement will be made by 6:00 PM tonight regarding the decision for school tomorrow.

Due to the district closure on Tuesday, January 27th, the TELPAS meeting originally scheduled for January 27 has been canceled. We will reschedule the meeting and share the new date and time as soon as it is finalized.

With that in mind, now is a great time to remind families where to find the latest updates on potential school delays or closures in January and February. ❄️☃️🌨️
👉 Updates will be shared via text message and/or email, the Van ISD Facebook page, and the Live Feed section on the Van ISD website & mobile app.
👉 Make sure your contact information is up to date in Skyward Family Access to receive any closure or delay notices by text and/or email.
If you do not see a notice in any of these locations, classes will proceed as normal.

This Wednesday, December 3rd, students can wear school-appropriate pajamas for $1 during our PJs for Mr. Peterson fundraiser.
All proceeds will go directly to Mr. Peterson and his family as they navigate unexpected expenses after recent fire damage to their home. #WeAreVan
EARLY RELEASE FRIDAY: All Van ISD campuses will release 3 hours early on Friday, November 21st, due to the number of students and staff required to travel, and the need to use our Van ISD buses.
This schedule adjustment allows our buses to complete all afternoon routes before heading to Sulphur Springs for the playoff game.

⭐️ Already registered? You STILL need to log in to Skyward Family Access and fill out this new form for each student.

For the 11th year in a row, we are excited to provide FREE school supplies to all Van ISD students!!! These supplies will be waiting for students in their classrooms on the first day of school.
👉 Van ISD did NOT provide school supply lists to any retail stores.
🎒 Backpacks are NOT included in the free supplies.
