We wrapped up another outstanding year of Vandal athletics with our annual Van Vandal Athletic Banquet, held on May 12th in the Van High School Cafetorium. This special event serves as a year-end celebration of the hard work and accomplishments of our Vandals and Lady Vandals. Each sport was recognized with a highlight video, and head coaches presented Fighting Vandal and MVP awards to athletes who stood out during the season.
To conclude the program, Athletic Director Coach Jared Moffatt and Girls Coordinator Coach Ashton Carpenter announce the winners of the most distinguished award: Best All-Around Male/Female Athlete.
This year, each side selected two winners. On the boys' side, Caden Rowe and Easton Hinch were selected. Caden participated in football, basketball, and track this year. Easton was a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. On the girls' side, Kaelyn Harvey and Averi Crouch were selected. Kaelyn was on the volleyball, basketball, track, and softball teams. Averi participated in volleyball, track, and softball.
Each of these student-athletes has dedicated countless hours to their sport, helping lead the Vandals to key victories throughout their time in the red and white.
