senior walk

Van ISD celebrated one of its most beloved traditions earlier this month as the Class of 2025 and our kindergarten graduates participated in the annual Senior Walk.

Graduating seniors from Van High School paired up with kindergarten students and walked through the halls and sidewalks of the district’s campuses, many of which they once attended themselves. Along the way, they were cheered on by current students, staff members, and family members.

The event serves as a meaningful milestone for seniors as they prepare for graduation, while also giving younger students a glimpse of what lies ahead in their own academic journey.

For the seniors, the walk represents a full-circle moment—a chance to reflect on their time in Van ISD and the memories that brought them to this point. For kindergarten students, it offers inspiration and a preview of the future, when they too will don a red cap and gown and take their final walk through the district.

Congratulations to the Van High School Class of 2025—and to the future Class of 2037.
