The current storm cell has passed, and we are now releasing bus riders on their normal routes. Thank you for your patience as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Van ISD is holding all buses until the current storm cell passes. Students are safe and being supervised indoors. We will resume dismissal as soon as it is safe to do so. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Due to the approaching storm, we are beginning the early release of car riders who are already in line. Depending on the timing and severity of the weather, bus riders may be delayed or held for safety. We appreciate your patience and will continue to share updates as needed.

Van ISD is currently monitoring the forecast for potential severe weather this afternoon. Depending on the weather, there could be delays in dismissal times. Please be weather aware and stay tuned to district communications for updates. If no announcement is made, dismissal will proceed as normal.

Tonight's varsity baseball game in Athens has been moved up to 4:00 PM, due to the potential for bad weather. ⚾ The JV game is canceled.

🏆 District Champs Once Again! 🏆 The UIL Social Studies team has done it again—District Champions for the 15th year in a row! 🎉 With an incredible team score of 216, we outscored second-place Canton by 101 points and secured our spot at Regionals, the next step on our road to State!
