Kindergarten students recently concluded their unit on royalty after spending time exploring kings, queens, and the traditions of royal families. Throughout the unit, students learned about the roles of monarchs, royal customs, and the importance of manners and respectful behavior.
To culminate their learning, students participated in a tea party fit for royalty. The special celebration gave them the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by demonstrating proper etiquette — placing napkins in their laps, keeping pinkies up, waiting patiently until everyone was served, and using polite table manners.
Dressed as kings and queens, students fully embraced the experience while reinforcing important social skills such as patience, respect, and self-control.
The royal tea party was a great way to bring classroom learning to life and celebrate the end of a fun unit!
