Vandal Family, VHS student, Nikki Tompkins, is still receiving treatment in a Dallas hospital after her medical emergency a few weeks ago. To help her and her family out during this difficult time, we are organizing a district-wide "hat day" for this Thursday, September 26th. 🧢👒🎩 🤝 Students and staff can wear their favorite hat to school on Thursday for a $1 donation. If you wish to make a larger donation, please contact Van High School. Please turn in all donations to your child's campus.

Update from Dallas ISD: Van ISD students will NOT be required to show student IDs at Friday night's game vs Dallas Carter!!! 🏈 Clear bag policy WILL be in effect!!!

To ensure we can meet the needs of all our students, Van ISD will have a 3-hour early release on Friday, August 30th. This adjustment allows us to accommodate buses for extracurricular activities while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Enjoy your slightly longer Labor Day weekend!

FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR ALL VAN ISD STUDENTS! ✂️🖍️📓✏️📚 For the 10th year in a row, we are excited to provide FREE school supplies to all Van ISD students! Supplies will be waiting in your students' classrooms on the first day of school. Backpacks are NOT included in the free supplies.

REMINDER: STAAR scores are available in Skyward Family Access. Once you log in to Skyward Family Access, click on "District Links" and then choose "STAAR Scores" from the dropdown menu. Contact your child's campus for assistance if you have difficulty accessing Skyward.

Due to worsening weather conditions, the Van High School Graduation Ceremony will be moved to tomorrow, May 25th at 10 AM. We are making this decision out of an abundance of caution for our students, staff, and visitors, and in order to ensure we can give our students the ceremony and recognition they deserve. Gates will open at 8:30 AM. Graduates will need to arrive at the fieldhouse by 9 AM.
