All Van ISD campuses & facilities will be closed until Tuesday, April 9th, including outdoor facilities. We look forward to seeing our students & staff on Tuesday morning!
In response to safety and operational concerns surrounding the upcoming total solar eclipse, Van ISD will close all campuses and buildings on Monday, April 8, 2024. This decision prioritizes the safety of our students and staff, and allows them to enjoy this rare event with their families. All Van ISD students will receive a pair of eclipse glasses on Friday, April 5, 2024. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.This closure will not extend the current school calendar or alter any existing scheduled breaks.
SENIORS: Please remember to turn in your baby photos, senior night photos, and yearbook ads to Mrs. Germany by the end of this week!

The Van ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar during the February Board Meeting. The calendar sets the first day of school to be on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and the last day of school/graduation ceremony as Friday, May 23, 2024.

🇺🇸 We are asking all military personnel and veterans to arrive by 5:45 PM, and make their way to the door that enters the gym floor with 5 minutes remaining in the girls varsity warm-up. They will be introduced, take a quick photo, and remain on the floor with both teams for the National Anthem!
